An innovative and self-sufficient property entirely made of wood.
A Home is where we live, where we feel at ease and where we can spend time in company, which is why the importance of lighting is fundamental.
Here light plays a key role and is present in the right amount: effects, colours and the design of light points turn a property into a “place we can call home”.
This project focuses on interior lighting, using light design to hone in on wood details and the architecture. Materials used for this smart home characterise the architecture and its structure.
The living area is highlighted by the presence of a track that emphasizes the geometry of furnishings, while also acting as a functional lighting element for the bookcase and kitchen.
The staircase leading from the ground floor to the first floor is entirely made of wood and in addition to being a safety feature, the handrail is also a luminous and architectonic sign in this setting.
Rooms are characterised by the wooden beamed ceiling, luminous led lines turn this architectonic element into “one big lamp” that emits a suffused and emotional light.
Full height stone slabs in the show become luminous grout lines, enabling the creation of plays of light and depth.
The complexity of this project lies in its ability to create unique and technical details to conceal light elements and exalt geometries.
